SippyTap privacy
Effective September 12, 2026
The short version
SippyTap has no accounts, no servers holding your data, no analytics, and no ads. Everything stays on your iPhone and in Apple Health.
Apple Health
With your permission, SippyTap writes the drinks you log (water, caffeine, and alcoholic drinks) to Apple Health. It reads your water for today, and your weight, height, and date of birth to suggest a daily water goal. Health data is never sent anywhere, never used for advertising, and never stored in iCloud by SippyTap.
On your iPhone
SippyTap keeps your stickers (drink, amount, name) and a log of your taps in the app's own storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. Drinks already saved to Apple Health stay there until you remove them in the Health app.
Stickers and this website
Each sticker holds a link to this website. The pack code sits after the # in that link, and browsers never send that part to a server. This site sets no cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles web requests like any host.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
